We got in touch with Standa before the 2023/24 season after my son Lukas was unexpectedly not drafted to the NHL and had to decide whether to continue with the men's B team of his home club HC Pardubice or try an opportunity overseas. I do not know much about youth hockey across the ocean, so I followed a recommendation and turned to Standa, who has a strong overview and many contacts in the best league in the world. The competition system may seem complicated, but thanks to him we understood everything and followed his recommendation. Several CHL teams showed interest in my son, we had multiple video calls, and after those meetings we chose Tri-City Americans, who then drafted Lukas in the CHL draft.
